Another gloomy day on the Hudson as we leave around 9:00 am from Rondout Marina, Kingston with destination of Haverstraw Marina.Marge reaches her brother Johnny and we will meet him in the afternoon. The clouds are joined with rain as we head south on the Hudson. It seems everytime we pass through West Point the weather is beautiful heading north and always rain and fog on the way back.
We got an interior slip in the Haverstraw Marina away from the wind, and are tied up when the skies open up and the rain is unbelievable. It was so bad we told Johnny to delay coming for us to avoid drowning.
Later, we get together with Johnny and Mary for a very nice afternoon of cocktails and TV golf and then dinner at Noel's Irish Pub. Then back to the boat, looking forward to the trip through NYC and onto Long Island Sound.
