August 9, 2011 - Lake Champlain at anchorage, Nichols Point

Just heard of the passing of a very good friend from Islandia, Geno Tesone. A great guy who could always make you laugh, who always had that glimmer in his eye like something was going to happen. He will be terribly missed and our thoughts and prayers are with Marge, Lisa, Laura, and Bruce during this most difficult of times.

We decided to go to a quiet anchorage a few miles east of Plattsburgh after Wiping out a Wal-Mart. Cloudy afternoon but beautiful spot on Lake Champlain.
